The City Council of Alhaurín de la Torre hosts the official presentation of a solidarity event that will bring together dozens of players on July 25 to support the work of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
Lauro Golf has participated this morning in the official presentation of the I Golf Tournament Against Cancer, held in the City Hall of Alhaurín de la Torre, in an event that has served to publicize a solidarity initiative that will unite sport and social commitment on July 25 at the club’s facilities.
The press conference was attended by representatives of the City Council, the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and Lauro Golf, who highlighted the importance of promoting events that contribute to raising funds for cancer research and for the support programs that the association offers to patients and families.
The tournament was born with the aim of turning golf into a tool of solidarity, inviting players and fans to enjoy a day of sport while collaborating with a cause that affects millions of people. All the benefits obtained will contribute to supporting the work that the AECC develops in terms of research, prevention, psychological care and support for those living with the disease.
Lauro Golf, faithful to its commitment to society and to the municipality of Alhaurín de la Torre, joins this initiative by putting its facilities at the service of a competition that aspires to consolidate itself as an annual event within the sports and solidarity calendar of the province of Malaga.
