{"id":2721,"date":"2026-10-26T08:17:00","date_gmt":"2026-10-26T07:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/laurogolf.com\/?p=2721"},"modified":"2026-10-26T11:33:35","modified_gmt":"2026-10-26T10:33:35","slug":"golf-tournament-in-malaga-volvo-vypsa-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/laurogolf.com\/en\/golf-tournament-in-malaga-volvo-vypsa-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Lauro Golf opens entries for Club Day and the 8th Volvo Vypsa Tournament"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lauro Golf will hold its Club Day on Sunday 15 November with the eighth edition of the Volvo Vypsa Tournament, a golf tournament in Malaga that brings together competitive golf, good food and a prize draw.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Individual Stableford on the A and B loops<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The competition will be played as an individual Stableford, with a shotgun start at 9:00 from tees III and V. The field will play holes 1 to 18 of the Alhaur\u00edn de la Torre course, which make up the <a href=\"https:\/\/laurogolf.com\/en\/golf-course\/course-holes-1-9-a\/\">A (holes 1-9)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/laurogolf.com\/en\/golf-course\/course-holes-10-18-b\/\">B (holes 10-18)<\/a> loops of its <a href=\"https:\/\/laurogolf.com\/en\/golf-course\/\">27 holes<\/a>. Players will compete in three categories: Men&#8217;s 1st, Men&#8217;s 2nd and Ladies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Breakfast and barbecue included<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The day gets under way before the first tee shot with a breakfast buffet served from 7:15 to 8:45, and ends with a barbecue after the round. Both are included in the entry fee: members pay their green fee plus \u20ac45, while non-members pay \u20ac95.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prizes and a Volvo weekend draw<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prizes will go to the top two finishers in each category, the best scratch player and the best player under 18 handicap. There will also be several nearest-to-the-pin and longest-drive prizes for men and women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the highlights will come at the end of the day with a prize draw among all players, which includes a weekend behind the wheel of a Volvo.
